Hey folks,
I'm living in Taylor Mill, KY in the greater Cincinnati area.
Hrmm what to say? I'm a SAP Tech Senior Manager for a company in Atlanta so I travel on a regular basis all over the US.
I have 5 kids after marrying my college girlfriend. Justin (20 yrs) is studying computer engineering with a full tuition scholarship to the University of Lousville. Diane (18 yrs) is studying special education at Eastern Kentucky with a full tuition scholarship. Dexter (16 yrs) so far has managed to get only one B in high school so with his weighted classes is well above a 4.0. Here's hoping he gets a full ride :) Kelvin (14 yrs) is just starting off high school and survived his first year of football. The youngest is Jessica (13 yrs) who is looking forward to acting classes later this month with the Cincinnati Shakespeare Company.
Unfortunately the marriage didn't work out so Karen and I divorced about 10 years back. So I've been out there dating with a few serious girlfriends since then.
This past November I flew out to India for a two week vacation to see the country with a native to that country. A friend that I met on an AOL project when I was working for IBM.
So I've been thinking about Omicron Delta history and what the new guys hadn't been exposed to. I'm still wanting a good picture of the old "Thunder Ducks" shirt... If I can get the image I'll get some more made up. Is Lou's still over in Hamilton? I'm sure the new Actives didn't go for their traditional Lou burgers after the ceremony. Also should we teach them "Chi Phi Girl" and the "House Cheer"? heh heh...

Hello all
Hello all,
It's great to have a site to go to to catch up and renew friendships. I'm currently living in Akron, OH and working at various clients around the world. Today, I happen to be working in London for BP. I'm married and have two children. "TJ" (Tom, Junior) is 16 and is an avid drummer - drum corp style. Christine is 13 and spends most of her week dancing. Daralee, my wife, has worked from home while raising the kids.

We're Back!
Hi all,
This is great to read about "Old" (how did that happen?) brothers and get to know new ones. It is funny to read about our children and retirement and all...time has flown. I am living in Granville, Ohio, with my wife, Chris, and our two kids....Mallory who turns 21 next week and Christian who turns 14 next week. We are sort of in birthday mode here! Mallory will graduate this May form Marietta College and plans to attend grad school for Speech/Language. She is waiting to heaqr from OSU, Purdue, Case Western, or OU (I can't explain it...just glad I won't have to write the check to them!!!) Christian is an 8th grader at Granville and enjoys life...homework is optional! His favorite things are band, baseball, and math. Chris is the Marketing and PR Director for Knox Community Hospital.
I am serving Miami as part of the Alumni Recruitment Network and currently the principal of Mount Vernon Middle School. It is a great challenge with 1050 middle schoolers! I am enjoying everyday of it. I was offerd this position last summer and decided to leave my job as elementary principal at Granville Elementary where I had 750 K-3rd graders. Sometimes the two are much the same! I, like Jeff, am working on my PhD in Educational Leadership. I plan to finish around the time I can retire.....
I am looking forward to a chance to meet up with everyone and share old stories and help to build new Chi Phi memories for the new brothers. :-) Bill

Jeff, great job in creating this blog! This will enable all the old timers and the new members to share thoughts and insights. I reside in Carmel, IN and have a great wife of 20 years 'Marla' and two great sons; Mark 8th grade high honors and in the band, Matt 7th grade, principal high honor roll and is in the band too! Please note these high grades were contributed mostly from Marla's side.
Being involved in the teleconference talking about the Omicron Delta chapter brought rushing back to me a lot of great memories and remembering all the brothers that shared a lot of time together. It was sad to hear it close in the late 80's. However, the thought of this chapter re-opening and the men that are putting this together sounds like a crew that not only can accomplish opening our fraternity back up, but bring with it a certain high level of servitude to the community and a promising base for our chapter to recolonize.
I have the old plaque and upon a building this will be placed when the time is right. Pictures I have a few and hope others can find so we can re-create the picture book. Wish I knew where the wooden case was?
With all that is said, I am honored that these men have decided to re-colonize this chapter and I will do whatever I can to assist. I am less than two hours away and will be attending announced meetings.

Hello Brothers
Hello all Omicron Delta Brothers, I am Josh Engelhart the current chapter Alpha. I am a first year student like all of the current chapter members. I am planning on majoring in Finance and then going into the banking industry. In my time here at Miami I became friends with a great group of guys and we decided that we should start a fraternity. From that time I lead the effort in getting everything moving and after our new member ceremony I was voted chapter Alpha.
Our group is currently 15 members strong with more recruits close to joining. The spring semester will also bring new faces and more potential Brothers. Almost half of our brothers are honors and scholars students and just about everyone is involved with intramural sports. We are all very excited about getting involved on campus and will be able to shortly after break, when we get our Interfraternity Council recognition.
I look forward to meeting all of you and hope to see you all at the Alumni Dinner currently being planned tentatively for April 5th. More information on that will be coming soon as we hammer out the details.
If you have any questions for me personally or anything about the group you can leave a comment on this blog which I will try to check frequently or preferably you can email me at engelhjb@muohio.edu.

Thank you, Jeff!
Jeff:
This is a great and innovative way for Omicron Delta alumni from around the world to stay in touch and to reach out to each other.
On behalf of the National Fraternity, I'd like to express Chi Phi's appreciation for for all your hard work! We'll send out an invitation to all Omicron Delta alumni about this accomplishment in the coming week. We'll also ask the Colony Alpha to post an update about his group on here as well. In the mean time, I'd invite all Omicron Delta alumni to post a quick update about themselves, their careers, families, etc. It's been many years since most of our Miami alumni have been in touch with each other, and this is a great way to re-spark that network.
